CONNACHT GOLD was established on 1st November 2000 by the merger of North Connacht Farmers' Co-Operative Society (NCF) and Kiltoghert Co-Operative Agricultural & Dairy Society Ltd.

Connacht Gold Co-Op is a large multi-purpose co-operative engaged in a wide range of activities including dairy processing, liquid milk distribution, feed milling, retail stores, livestock marketing, wool trading, and timber sawmilling.

It employs 500 people in Connacht and provides jobs for many others in transport, distribution and forestry.
